Hey, there! I’m Taylor Alvord, the creative behind Let’s Get Festive. I approach my work not just as a designer who’s passionate about event planning, but as a friend who will get to know you and help you celebrate in ways you’ll never forget.
I graduated from Drexel University in 2013 with a degree in Graphic Design — and that’s when I became the source for invitations for my family and friends. It didn’t take long for me to realize just how fulfilling it can be to design any element of a celebration, from start to finish.
With my super-organized, planning-obsessed personality and my meticulous creative skills, event design truly does come naturally to me.

WITH US, IT’S PERSONAL.
Whether you’re planning every detail for a party here in Northeast Ohio, or working with us long-distance for custom invitations, our goal is to create more personalized events. So we make our design process personal, too.
WE DON’T TEMPLATE. WE TALK.
Wondering how we’re able to provide completely original designs? It takes conversation, creativity, and attention to detail.
FOR EXAMPLE, HERE’S OUR APPROACH TO CREATING CUSTOM INVITATIONS:
- We start with a phone call, so we can talk about your event and your expectations, and then we provide you with a quote.
- From there, the fun really starts as we meet for a consultation. In-person consultations are not only exciting, they’re extremely helpful too. We’ll bring samples, and we welcome you to bring anything that inspires you.
- With our consultation, we’ll make sure we share the same vision for your event. And as we determine how to bring this vision to life, we can provide you with an adjusted quote and set up our contract.
- If you’re local, we’ll meet in person as often as needed, and if you’re far away, we’ll do all we can to make the design process feel like we’re working side by side. Either way, you’ll have opportunities to review our progress and approve proofs before anything goes to print.
